Toshiba has announced that it has planned to launch its latest tablet PC called the Excite A200. The company claims that Excite AT200 will be the world’s thinnest tablet ever.
Toshiba earlier had unveiled in late September that its Excite A200 tablet will be made available in the European markets to the consumers in Q4 of 2011.
But Toshiba doesn't seems to keep its promise. Excite AT200 tablet can already be seen at the company’s authorized Canadian website. Additionally, the said page says that the tablet pc will be made available in the North by January 2012.
So now it seems that people need to wait for Excite AT200 till January-February 2012, to experience the thinnest tablet, claimed by Toshiba
However, Toshiba has yet not unveiled any precise availability and pricing details of the tablet but some websites have been reporting that the Wi-Fi only edition can now be pre-ordered in Germany. The 16GB edition will be available for 479 Euro and the 32GB edition for 584 Euro.
Toshiba Excite AT200 Review. The tablet is quite a handful with a 10.1 inches touchscreen and is lightweight too. The tablet runs on the new Android 3.2 Honeycomb. Toshiba AT200 Excite has a 10.1 inches wide capacitive touchscreen and it has a resolution of 1200×800 pixels. The touchscreen also has light sensors to make the screen visible in bright as well as dim light. This new Toshiba AT200 Excite is fitted with 1 GB of RAM and an internal memory of 64 GB. Well, this much of on board memory is quite enough to hold lots of data and personal stuff for entertainment and business. You can expand the memory by using microSD card slots. The tablet gives you many connectivity options like Bluetooth v3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G, microUSB, microSD, microHDMI port. The HDMI port is a really good addition to this tablet.

The tablet has the capability to play all kinds of formats of video and audio files and this tablet is in fact a very good entertainment hub and will appeal to both the groups of people who like to have tablet for pleasure or for business.
