The Windows Phone 7 OS is designed around a set of animated Tiles, which can be pinned/unpinned, dragged around, swapped anywhere on the homescreen. Some of the tiles are 'Dynamic', in the sense they can display current updates, like the Email Tile which would display the number of currently unread messages in your inbox. The OS lets you 'pin' pretty much anything on the homescreen, from mails, widgets, bookmarks to albums. The OS easily integrates with your social networks and fetches information like contact no, email address, birthdays, event reminder, etc to your smartphone.
HTC HD7 has inbuilt HTC hub apps like Weather, Stocks, Converter, Photo Enhancer, YouTube, Notes, Flashlight,Xbox Live games and Sound Enhancer. It comes with the regular sensors like the G-Sensor, Digital compass, Proximity sensor and Ambient light sensor.
The HD7 is powered by a Lithium-ion 1230 mAh battery giving you 6 hours of talktime on 2G networks, which is pretty low. You may need to carry an extra battery for it, which will cost you about Rs600/-. Current price of HTC HD7 in India is Rs17599/-
