With the CCD image sensor, you can take images at 14.1 megapixel resolution. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS5 weighs 173 g and is sleek enough to fit into any pocket or bag comfortably. This slim Panasonic camera is easy to use as it has a familiar 5 button menu control and zoom tabs on the right back panel. You can record videos in HD at 1280 x 720 dot pixel resolution (30 fps).
You can choose from 16:9, 3:2, 1:1 or 4:3 aspect ratios while shooting images to compose the perfect image. You can also use the 2.7 inch TFT LCD screen, which has a resolution of 230,000 dot pixels, to compose images.
Battery and Storage
The Panasonic Lumix digital camera has an internal memory of 10 MB and is compatible with SD, SDHC and SDXC memory cards. With 1 AA Alkaline batteries, you can take up to 160 images. With the optional AA NiMH batteries, you can take up to 320 images on a single charge. The Optical Image Stabilizer automatically corrects for hand-shake, and delivers blur-free images at every shot. With the Face Recognition feature, the camera will detect pre-registered faces and optimize focus and exposure settings for them in all future images. The self-timer feature lets you delay shutter release by 2 or 10 seconds to be in every image with all your friends. In Continuous Shooting mode, you can take images at 0.8 frames per second and record moments even the naked eye might miss.
